Passion only takes winemakers so far. On top of the desire to make great wine a lot of hard work goes into it as well. There are few people in wine who have had to work as hard as Sara Dionisio and her husband Antonio Ribeiro. After mother nature dealt the couple a catastrophic blow in 2017, they have, like a phoenix, literally risen from the ashes and today continue their pursuit of  producing delicious wines.

Casa de Mouraz-3
Sara Dionisio and Antonio Ribeiro

CDMW2015 Casa de Mouraz, Dao White

Enticing aromas of petrol and beeswax give way to flowers and stone fruit. On the palate flavors or lemon/lime, distinct limestone minerality, fresh acidity and a wonderful overall texture.

SRP:  $17.99

ALRVT

2016 Antonio Lopez Ribeiro, Vinho Tinto

This red wine is a special take on the typically harsh red wines from Vinho Verde, a region known more for white wine production. A spicy, salty nose showing notes of light red fruit and cracked black pepper. Flavors of  wild strawberries and a distinct acidity. Serve this light bodied red chilled along side grilled meats. Perfect for the summertime meals on the patio.

SRP: 19.99

CDMR2014 Casa de Mouraz, Dao Rouge

Deep purple in color. Fresh dark fruits lead the way on the nose of this wine. Think plum, dark berries, black licorice, earthiness, with floral and roasted meat notes. On the palate a very silky texture with nice balance between the dark fruit flavors, bright acid and fine tannins. A spicy, complex finish.

SRP: $17.99
